[Comiket 107 Report] Korean Creator Pyo Eunji Lands at Tokyo Big Sight as Asuka

On December 30, 2025, Comic Market 107 (C107) was held at Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake, Tokyo. Pyo Eunji (표은지), the popular Korean YouTuber and influencer, attended the world's largest doujinshi convention — now celebrating its 50th anniversary — as part of a press visit.
Her costume of choice: the plugsuit of Asuka Langley Soryu from the legendary anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. With its vivid red-and-white silhouette and Asuka's signature long orange hair, the look stopped visitors in their tracks. Every time she appeared in the venue corridors or the rooftop area, a ring of cameras formed around her.
Comiket's 50th Anniversary: A Packed Venue
C107 drew a total of 300,000 attendees across its two days. The halls were filled not only with domestic otaku fans but also with visitors from across Asia and from Western countries — a tangible reminder of just how international Comiket has become.

This year marked a milestone: 50 years since Comiket's founding. Commemorative merchandise and special anniversary projects were on display throughout the venue, giving the event even more energy than usual. The outdoor areas and rooftop were packed, and the cosplay area was lined with cosplayers from Japan and abroad.
Asuka Arrives — and the Crowd Reacts
Amid all that energy, Pyo Eunji's Asuka cosplay drew particular attention. Dressed in a meticulously crafted plugsuit, she struck poses on the Tokyo Big Sight rooftop, and a crowd gathered almost instantly. "May I take your photo?" came the calls, one after another, and at times fans formed lines to get a shot.

Pyo Eunji crossed the sea from Korea to take part in Japan's biggest otaku festival — and her presence resonated across the venue, well beyond any language barrier.
Comiket as a Cultural Crossroads
Comic Market has long since grown into a cultural hub that reaches far beyond Japan. Our visit made that clear once again: visitors from Asia, Europe, and North America filled the halls, a sign of how far interest in doujinshi and cosplay culture has spread worldwide.
This summer's Comiket (C108) is already something a great many people are looking forward to.
